Primary Purpose

The Software Developer contributes to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications, providing specialized technical or business knowledge. Under the guidance of a Software Team Manager, they collaborate with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to define customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions. The primary responsibility is to implement solutions to business problems using software tools. They also share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop software applications and features, supported by well-commented code, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Perform research into new features or to enhance existing features, document and share findings with other members of the team, and evaluate design trade-offs and other implementation decisions.
  • Collect and analyze business requirements for software components and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain development backlogs.
  • Estimate time to complete development tasks.
  • Collaborate with other personnel to ensure business application are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.

Job Description

Manage the design, implementation, and operations of energy control system projects. Responsible for the development of conceptual control solution designs for low and medium voltage generation and distribution systems, preparation of technical specifications, coordination of detail design with contractors and design consultants, review of detail design documents, and ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and applicable design criteria. Serve as field engineer to implement solutions and provide post-installation support to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resolve electrical and or control system design, installation, and interface issues that arise at the project site during construction, and assist in the proposal, startup and commissioning of the projects.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and inspection of electrical designs, equipment and installations to ensure compliance with applicable acceptance criteria, codes, and standards.
  • Responsibilities include travel to manufacturing facilities to inspect assembly of electrical equipment and attend factory testing. Also includes travel to project job sites to oversee installation of electrical materials, equipment and systems.
  • Coordinate electrical design development with equipment suppliers, construction contractors, and consultants.
  • Responsibilities include reviewing electrical design documents and technical specifications and providing responses to same.
  • Develop technical specifications for procurement of electrical equipment and installation services. Prepare technical and commercial bid evaluations for proposals received.
  • Prepare construction plans, schedules and procedures for electrical installations.

Primary Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Finance Operations: Key contributor to corporate finance functions including planning & analysis, treasury, cash management, and accounting and controls. Develop three-statement financials, pro formas, and valuation analyses reflecting diverse business plans, operational plans, and market development possibilities. Review monthly actual results and ensure accurate financial reporting. Proactively work with internal accounting group and PXiSE team members to ensure GAAP compliance. Prepare actual vs. plan reports, analyze variances, and share results with senior mangement. Develop thorough techno-economic analysis of PXiSE product offerings and customer use cases to ensure successful financial outcomes achieved with clients. Support the identification of market and competitive analyses, continually analyze information requests, and provide support to management in the development of market analysis materials.
  • Price Strategy: Influence price strategy and manage the successful execution of the strategy across PXiSE product offerings. Develop price models consistent with organization financial goals, competitive position, market conditions, customer buying preferences, and overall solution design.
